Using misdirection, Neil Melanson takes you through a different set up to get to the D'Arce Choke from side mount. The D'Arce Choke is often used as a counter to an opponent in the bottom position attempting to escape by using the far arm underhook. Melanson shows us how to attack using the near arm from a great side mount holding/control position.
Now, it’s your turn. Practice this technique and let us know how it works for you. Never stop learning!
